The evening of May, 31, promotion conference of 2012 Shanghai International trade fair for automotive parts, accessories, equipment and services (Automechanika Shanghai) was held in Guangzhou. Jing Yongjian, President of CNAICO, Cheng Yongshun, General Manager of International Exhibition Department 3, Cao Jiansheng, Senior General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Co., Ltd., Lin Jianzhong, Vice President of Auto & Motor Parts Chamber of Commerce of National Federation of Industry and Commerce, industrial representatives from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hongkong, and industrial media attended the meeting.
Exhibition organizers claimed that, at the international level, firstly, they want to create opportunities for exhibitors to explore emerging markets in South America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and other regions. Consequently, they need to organize buyers from these regions to participate in this exhibition; secondly, they will invite well-known supplies chain brand from China, Europe and the United States to come to the exhibition; Thirdly they will offer face-to-face business-matching services for some important buyers and exhibitors; Lastly, they will apply messe Frankfurt’s global buyers resources, inviting overseas buyers to the show. At the domestic level, firstly, they will still focus on the market of East China (centering in Shanghai) and apply appropriate measures to gather the major buyers; secondly, to meet exhibitors’ requirement, CNAICO will integrate the exhibition resources and customer resources, organizing buys from all over the country come to the show.
Automechanika Shanghai is one of the 11 Automechanika global brand exhibition. After eight years’ development, it has become Asia's largest auto parts and services exhibition.
