China(Macau) Automotive and Shipping Equipment Fair 2016 Seeking for New Opportunity in theOne Belt, One Road Initiative

China (Macau) Automotive and Shipping Equipment Fair 2016(hereinafter referred to as MASEF), jointly launched byMinistry of Commerce,Development Department of Trade, CNAICO,Nanguang National Exhibition Overseas Corporation and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Department, was successfully held from June 2 to 4 at Fishing Man Port.
 
MASEF lasted for threedays, covering an area of 6,000 square meters with threepatterns including Exhibition, Specialized forum and Public interaction. TheFair receivedattention and support from 150 exhibitors from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Brazil, Portugal, etc.,includingBMW, LOTUS Club, RIFENG Dealer, and so on.Automobile products such as seat cushions, color-altered films and anti-eruption films, lighting appliances and refit accessories,among others, were exhibitedduringthe Fair. This exhibition not only attracteda large audience and distributors domestically but also 500 overseas purchasing groups from Brazil, Portugal, Japan, Korean, India and Singapore.
 
MASEF, as the first specialized automobile and shipping exhibition to be connected with Chinese Manufacture 2025 in Hong Kong and Macau, focusedon establishing a strategic Asian-Pacific Import and Export Platform with the One Belt One Road Initiative, aiming at accomplish “self-developing and opening corporation” on cutting-edge manufacturein Chinese Manufacture 2025 and actively leading the mainland enterprises to explore markets alongthe One Belt One RoadInitiative, so as to contribute to the role that Macau is playingin the communication and trade between mainland and overseas, promote capacity cooperation between domestic automobile and shipping industriesto developan internationalexport capacityand boost supply-side reform. Jin Hong, Vice Firectorof Overseas Trading Developing Department of the Ministry of Commerce, Rong Tao, Vice Manager of NanguangNational Exhibition Overseas Corporation, Chairman Zhang Fusheng and General Manager Han XiaojunofCNAICO attended and cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony.
 
As the representative of the main organizer, Han Xiaojun, General Manager of CNAICO, made a promising analysis in his address that the strong growth of the Chinese automobile industry has made the import and export of auto-aftermarket develop explosively, which saw a stunning increase from 88 billion to more than100 billion yuan. Macau enjoyssuperior regional advantages and was one of the wine vanes of the yacht industry. TheFairhasprovided a superb platform and opportunity to the aftermarket of automobile and shipping.
 
It is said that up to the end of 2015, the Chinese automobile hadreached 172 million vehicles, which promotes the rapid development of the auto-aftermarket. However, the consumption capacity of auto-aftermarket has yet to becompletely showcased. Chinese Manufacture 2025 propelled by the Central Government has become astrong incentive to promote the development of the Chinese automobile industry into an automobile great power. Auto-aftermarket also can be seen as a market with great potential.
