2017 Dongguan Spring International Automobile Exhibition Concluded

On May2, 2017,the closing ceremony of the four-day 17thGuangdong International Auto Exhibition & Trade Fair  (Spring) (2017 Dongguan Spring International Automobile Exhibition)was heldby China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd. (SINOMACHINT), Guangdong Modern International ExhibitionCenter , China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), Guangdong Economy and Trade Commission, People’s Government of Dongguanand China (Dongguan) Automobile Exhibition Co., Ltd.

This exhibition has attracted 85 reputed Chinese and international automobile exhibitors, covering 140,000 square meters with 1,000 brand-new finished automobiles,which is higher than any other previous edition. 35 new modelswereintroducedor announced during the exhibition and 5new automobiles made their debut in Southern China. In addition, 30 exhibitors brought their new boothswith conceptive interaction services, which always made the visitors come back for more.     

While this exhibition kept developing the display and distribution side by side, during these four days, the total number of visitors reached 213,000. New records weremade during the exhibition not only in terms of scale andnumber of exhibitors and visitors, but also in successful transactions and the level of exhibitors, stimulating the dealers of automobiles to achieveextraordinary sales over the first six months. In terms of luxurious cars, Lamborghini was undoubtedly the most stunning exhibit on display, gainingAlfa Romeo achieved a great amount of orders. Regarding joint-ventured automobiles, remarkable achievements havebeen made by FAW Toyota, Beijing Hyundai, NISSAN, Dongfeng Renault, DongfengYueda KIA, etc. As for self-owned brands, Trumpchi was the sales champion as everyone expected. In addition, Geely Automobile, Changan Auto, MG TF,DongfengFengshen acquired quite a few orders as well as many potential customers.

Besides, it was a fantastic experience for a huge number of visitors to attend various activities during the exposition, such as the “Exhibition Cup” King of GloryChampionship Game and “The Playa” Chinese poker game on mobile phones, together with prizes of thousands in cash.

This exposition has gained full support from the media, attracting over 200 media representatives to cover the event.
