Preparation Meeting for the China-Arab High-Speed Railway Session 2017 Successfully Launched

       The exposition at both national and international level was approved by the state council and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the People’s Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The expo to be held on September 6-9 in Yinchuan, Ningxia will actively implement the policies and tasks of the Belt and Road Initiative by focusing on the countries along the Silk Road economic belt while welcoming the whole world. The event will be jointly held by the China Railway and the People’s Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, undertaken by the China Academy of Railway Sciences and the Reform Council of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and organized by CMECEXPO. The expo will be the first large-scale national exhibition in China themed on high-speed railway, which is a significant embodiment of the “high-speed railway diplomacy” by Premier Li Keqiang and an innovative highlight of the 2017 China-Arab States Expo.
 

 

       Before the meeting, Ding Hongxiang, vice general manager of SINOMACH met Cui Yunhong, vice director of the International Department of China Railway, and Ma Jian, vice director of the Development and Reform Commission of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Also present at the meeting were Han Xiaojun, secretary of the Communist Party and general manager of SINOMACHINT; and Zhang Li, vice general manager of SINOMACHINT and general manager of CMECEXPO.

 

 

       Vice General Manager Ding Hongxiang talked about the operation and development status of SINOMACH and SINOMACHINT, as well as the comprehensive corporation of SINOMACH in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. On July 24, Chairman Ren Hongbin led a delegation of subordinated corporations to meet Jiang Zhigang, vice secretary of the Communist Party of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and municipal Party secretary of Yinchuan. SINOMACH attached great importance to the China-Arab High-speed Railway Session, and will continue to promote the development of the high-speed railway industry.

 

       Vice Director Ma Jian expressed his gratitude to SINOMACH’s endeavor to the China-Arab High-speed Railway Session. He also extended his expectations to make this expo extraordinary by virtue of the professional exhibition team from SINOMOCHINT and its subordinate CMECEXPO. Such efforts shall improve the high-speed railway construction in Ningxia and facilitate the China-Arab cooperation in high-speed railway.
