Grand Opening of Shenyang International Automobile Expo 2018

       On June 14, the 17th Shenyang (China) International Automobile Expo 2018 (hereinafter referred to as Shenyang International Automobile Expo 2018) held its grand opening ceremony in Shenyang International Exhibition Center. With the supports from Shenyang Municipal Government, SINOMACH (China National Machinery Industry Corporation), and Foreign Trade Development Office of the Ministry of Commerce, this exposition was hosted by China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd. (referred to as SINOMACHINT) and undertaken by Liaoning China Automobile Expo Co., ltd., Peng Mingjing, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of CMIE, Wen Yimei, the vice-general manager of SINOMACHINT, and assistants to the general managers, Tang Liang, Song Changying and Jia Yu showed up for the event. Peng Mingjing, on behalf of the hosting party, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

     As the call for urban development, Shenyang International Automobile Expo was founded in 1999, and through 20 years’ vicissitudes, it has expanded its exhibition area from 20,000 square meters to 180,000 square meters. Themed by integration, communication and intelligence sharing”, the 17th Shenyang International Automobile Expo 2018 has attracted 116 auto brands fromworldwide for exhibiting, whereas the displayed automobiles reach up to 1853, with a dozen of premier models. Among them, the new Infiniti QX50, the sports-type P400e of Range Rover Evoque, and T-ROC, FAW-Volkswagen’s first SUV made their debut in northeast China; the first deluxe SUV P8 of the PHEV type of WEY made its reveal for the first time, and Trumpchi GS4 made its first appearance in northeast China, all of which had led the trends of the automobile market. 

       The automobile brands exhibited on this Expo included: Bentley, Porsche, McLaren, Tesla, Maserati, Rolls Royce, imported Volkswagen, Alfa Romeo, Zowie, ZOEMO, 108 Motor Homes, Benz, BMW, Audi, Jaguar, Range Rover, Infiniti, Cadillac, Acura, Volvo, Subaru, WEY, Chevrolet, Buick, Renault, Brilliance Renault, Brillance Auto, Tianjin FAW, FAW Mazda, FAW Toyota, FAW Besturn, FAW Volkswagen, Shanghai Volkswagen, Maxus, Dongfeng Honda, Dongfeng Nissan, Dongfeng Yueda KIA, Dongfeng Fengguang, Dongfeng Fengshen, Dongfeng Peugeot, Changan Auto, Changan Mazda, Changan Auchan, GAC Fiat Chrysler, Guangqi Honda, Mitsubishi Motors, Trumpchi, Beijing Auto, Beijing Hyundai, Haval, MG, Chery, Golden Dragon Coaches, Roewe, Skoda, Jianghuai Automobile, Geely, Leopard, Venucia, Borgward, BYD, Cloudscar Auto, Landwind Auto, Yiju Motor Homes, Traum, Maxus Motor Homes and so on.


       Moreover, the exposition has adopted the innovative electronic ticket system, where attendees could enter by scanning the QR code with an electronic ticket; the use of “Public Service Office” was continued, while other service stops were established as supplements; a large number of financial agencies were organized to provide the most economical and adorable financial services for consumers; a team of medical and legal practitioners was mobilized for the on-site office, offering medical consultancy and legal aid for exhibitors and audiences; and the use of free ferries continued to achieve seamless docking with the public transportation system.
