SINOMACHINT’s Two Major Exhibitions Are Included in the World’s Top 100 Trade Shows in 2018

       In July 2018, the Imp-Exp Executive magazine released the “Top 100 World Trade Shows in 2018”, and the two major exhibitions of SINOMACHINTranked among them. The Automechanika Shanghai 2018 (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Auto Parts Exhibition) and the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as Auto China), for which SINOMACHINT has participated in organizing, ranked 8th and 44th respectively.

       The size of the 13th Shanghai Auto Parts Exhibition has grown by 9% when compared with the previous year, reaching 340,000 square meters with 15 exhibition halls of National Convention and Exhibition Center occupied; a total of 6,051 companies from 40 countries and regions participated in the Exhibition, representing an increase of 5% from last year; 149 domestic and foreign professional audience groups visited the Exhibition site this year, representing an increase of 15% over the previous Exhibition. The exhibits cover automotive components, electronics and systems, automotive repair and maintenance, automotive supplies and modifications, automotive cleaning, maintenance and refurbishment, etc. In addition, the cutting-edge technologies and products in many fields such as tires, alternative energy and digital operation solutions, etc. are also presented.

       Under the theme of “Defining the New Life of Cars”, the 15thAuto China focuses on the intelligent, networked and electrified integration development. With a total exhibition area of 220,000 square meters, Auto China has attracted more than 1,200 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions all over the world. At Auto China, a total of 1,022 vehicles and 105 world premiere models (including 16 global premiere models from multinational corporations and 30 Asian premiere models from multinational corporations), 64 concept vehicles and 174 new energy vehicles (including 124 new energy vehicles from Chinese vehicle enterprises) have been exhibited, and both the new and old exhibition areas have attracted 820,000 visits in total. Auto China continues to maintain the leading position among the global auto shows in respect of the key indicators such as the number of exhibited brands, the number of exhibited vehicles, the quality of exhibited vehicles and the number of visitors.

       Furthermore, according to the Top 100 Trade Shows list ranking algorithm of Imp-Exp Executive, the 2018 selection threshold area has reached 123,200 square meters. In fact, the exhibition area of the 17th China Shenyang International Automobile Industry Expo in 2018 and theChina Hangzhou International Automobile Industry Exhibition sponsored by SINOMACHINT have both reached 180,000 square meters; the 22nd Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macau International Auto Expo and the New Energy and Smart Car Expo in 2018 have an exhibition area of 130,000 square meters; and the 18thGuangdong International Automobile Exhibition Fair * Spring Exhibition has an exhibition area of 150,000 square meters. The aforementioned exhibitions have all exceeded the selection threshold.
