The three-day 2018 China (Shanghai) International Emergency Safety & Fire Expo (Shanghai Emergency & Fire 2018) was grandly opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on December 5.

Shanghai Emergency & Fire 2018, themed “Building a Comprehensive International Platform for Security,” focused on two core areas of emergency safety and fire protection at home and abroad, covered an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, and had six exhibition areas: Rescue and disposal products, monitoring and early warning products, preventive and protective products, emergency response service, fire-fighting equipment and fire-resistant materials and equipment. The Exhibition attracted more than 200 companies from over ten countries including China, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Iran, and Sri Lanka to show high-tech products at home and abroad as well as advanced emergency fire-fighting technology. A range of side events such as the 2018 Shanghai International Emergency Safety & Fire Industry Summit Forum, domestic and foreign buyer matchmaking meetings and popular science activities were hosted simultaneously. More than 100 reporters covered the Exhibition with an attendance exceeding 20,000.
