11th Hohhot International Auto Show and New Energy Industry Expo 2019 Opens

       On June 6th, the “11th Hohhot International Auto Show and New Energy Industry Expo 2019” jointly hosted by China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Machinery International) and Hohhot Municipal People’s Government, had a grand opening at Inner Mongolia International Convention and Exhibition Center. Lu Deheng, Chief Financial Officer of China Machinery International, attended the opening ceremony and gave a speech. Zhang Liping, Deputy Secretary-General of Hohhot Municipal People’s Government, Song Shushen, Deputy Director of Hebei Radio and Television Station, Wulijitu, Director of Exhibition Office of Hohhot Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Qin Ling, Chief of Equipment and Consumer Goods Industry Department of Hohhot Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Wang Lifeng, General Manager of Inner Mongolia International Convention and Exhibition Center, attended the opening ceremony.
 
       The expo attracted 80 domestic and foreign automobile brands, new energy and smart automobile brands, auto parts enterprises and other market enterprises. More than 600 new fuel vehicles and nearly 50 new energy vehicles are on display, with a total exhibition area of 80,000 square meters. The auto show is showcasing a collection of high-end luxury, imported, joint-venture and domestic cars, featuring nearly 600 new models, including SUVs, family cars and modified cars. In addition, BYD New Energy, ROEWE New Energy and other domestic and foreign mainstream new energy and intelligent internet-connected automobile brands are showcasing their products and solutions in the New Energy Automobile Exhibition Hall, revealing the latest trends in new energy green travel.
 
       The auto show has also introduced a new smart access control technology and Big Data-based access control management system, creating a comprehensive new digital auto show. With the scanning and facial recognition-based entrance access system, users with electronic tickets can directly pass through the entry gate, which has made the entire process more efficient, convenient and environment-friendly.
 
       Since the first Hohhot International Auto Show in 2009, the auto show has been committed to “promoting economic growth, boosting scientific and technological progress, stimulating automobile consumption and promoting automobile culture” over the past ten years. The auto show is helping develop the local automobile market, automobile exhibitions and automobile culture, and promoting the economic transformation and upgrade of Hohhot.
