       The 9th Baotou International Auto Show and Equipment Manufacturing Expo (shortened as “Baotou International Auto Show”) was grandly opened on September 12 at the Baotou International Convention and Exhibition Center. The five-day event was co-sponsored by China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd. (SINOMACHINT) and the People’s Government of Baotou City and jointly hosted by SINOMACHINT, the People’s Government of Qingshan District in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Mengda Culture Media Co., Ltd. and Baotou International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the cooperation of four NORINCO subsidiaries, namely, Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd., Beiben Trucks Group Co., Ltd., and Northeast Industries Group Shandong Pengxiang Automobile Co., Ltd.

 

       As the largest and most influential annual automobile exhibition and trading platform in Baotou, the event witnessed further expanded scale, covering the four major sections of automobile, recreational vehicles, motorcycles and equipment manufacturing industries. On the exhibition floor of over 70,000 square meters, more than 700 models of 80 high-end, joint venture and independent automobile brands and equipment manufacturing industries were unveiled.

 

       As the first-class equipment manufacturing and production base and industrial city of China, Baotou boasts potential market resources for the industrialization and globalization of the automobile industry. Drawing on the development status of the automobile manufacturing industry and the needs of the Chinese and overseas markets, the equipment manufacturing section was established, to acquaint the visitors with the new wonders of industrial manufacturing.
