SINOMACHINT Promotes First Smart Manufacturing Industry Exhibition in Thailand

It was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, undertaken by its Trade Development Bureau, and jointly organized by CMEC, a subsidiary of SINOMACHINT, with special support from China Foundry Association and China General Machinery Association.

 

     The event was attended by nearly 200 companies from China, Thailand, Malaysia and India. Displayed in an area of ​​nearly 6,000 m2, the exhibits covered the six major themes of industrial automation, power transmission and control, foundry metallurgy, die casting and special casting, heat treatment and furnace technology, and air pressure technology. On the first day, thousands of professional manufacturers, buyers, traders and agents from various fields of machinery manufacturing were attracted to the exhibition venue.

   Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Alibaba Group, Thailand Foundry Association, Thailand Machinery Association, Thailand Mould Industry Association, Thailand Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, Malaysia Machine Manufacturers Association, Indonesia Foundry Association and many other international professional organizations set great store by the event and generously supported it. The International Smart Manufacturing Exhibition (Thailand) and Thailand International Foundry Metallurgy Brand show were held concurrently.

 

During the exhibition, a number of forums and promotion activities on the theme of “Industry 4.0” and Sino-Thai trade exchange were held, further deepening the communication between enterprises from the two countries.

 

CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (CMEC) teamed up with Alibaba Group and delivered the two keynote speeches of “Cross-border business opportunities consolidated by e-commerce--Alibaba” and “Data King: Release Conference of Alibaba International Machine Tool Industry Report”, sharing the experience of Alibaba in helping SMEs succeeding in the B2B e-commerce sector, to facilitate trade between Chinese and Thai companies to promote bilateral trade.

 

 As another important event of this exhibition, the Asia Foundry Association was officially established, at the initiation of foundry association from 12 countries and regions, including the China Foundry Association, the Thai Foundry Association, the Indian Foundry Association and the Japan Foundry Association.

 

In recent years, CMEC has embraced innovative development. While adhering to the main business of overseas exhibitions, it has strengthened market development in contracting major domestic and foreign exhibitions and provided services for Chinese enterprises to explore the international market. 2019 China Machinery and Intelligent Manufacturing Brand Show (Thailand) is an important platform for deepening mutual understanding and trust in the context of enhanced policy communication between the two countries. It is expected to play an active role in promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand.
