The 18th China International Automotive Powertrain Technology, Manufacturing Process and Equipment Symposium successfully held

On December 11, the 18^th China International Automotive Powertrain Technology, Manufacturing Process and Equipment Symposium opened in Shanghai. More than 100 leaders and experts of automotive and equipment manufacturing industry gathered from across the country to discuss issues of common concern "local proprietary, brand innovation, cooperation and win-win".

 

The themes of the Symposium covered two fields: auto parts industry and automotive equipment industry. Participants shared forefront and the hottest issues and exchanged views concerning the two fields.  The main topics of the auto parts industry included: evolution and revolution – The path of powertrain technology in the era of new energy; Technology of light-duty diesel engine which could meet the Euro Ⅴand Ⅵemission standards; industrialization of automatic transmission; development and practice of automotive diesel engine under European standards; Equipment management of engine manufacturing enterprise; power battery and assembly technology etc. For automotive equipment industry, the main topics concerned global development of machine tool and the latest domestic automotive equipment; meticulous management of coolant in the automotive manufacturing industry; technological achievement and practice of environmentally friendly products in automotive cleaning; environmental adaptability of Chinese automobiles etc.
 
During the symposium, all delegates visited the passenger car branch of Shanghai Automotive Industry Group Co., Ltd. They were impressed by not only the production process, technology expertise, management intelligence and equipment advantage of this China-owned automobile brand, but also the unique style and charm of the home-grown brand which was different from its foreign-owned or joint ventures peers.
 
Representatives from Changan Automotive General Engineering Research Institute, Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co., Ltd., Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd., Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, Geely Automobile Engine Factory, Harbin Coslight Power Co., Ltd., China Machine Tool and Tool Builders’ Association, VIVEX Engineering Ltd., Foshan Feng Zhuo Environmental Science and Technology Co. Ltd., Nanjing Jinming Machinery Engineering Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Electric Apparatus Research Institute attended the symposium and delivered wonderful speeches.
