2018 Green Car China – The new-energy intelligent automotive expo in Guangzhou gives a strong boost to the new-energy industry

       On the afternoon of July 12th, a press conference for the the 3rd China (Guangzhou) International New Energy, Energy-saving and Intelligent Automobile Exhibition (Green Car China)– a new-energy, intelligent automotive expo, was held in Guangzhou. Basic information and highlights of the exhibition were introduced at the conference, and a comprehensive question & answer session was held with over 30 media representatives. Related personnel from the company's International Exhibition Department-I participated in the press conference.

       Green Car China is hosted by China National Machinery Industry Corporation and State-Owned Enterprise Electric Vehicle Industry Alliance. It is organized by China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd. (SINOMACHINT), China National Electric Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd. , SINOMACH Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., National Instrument Functional Materials Engineering Technology Research Center, Chongqing Instrument Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd., Guangzhou China Auto Service Trade Co., Ltd. and CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SINOMACHINT. The expo was held at Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center Exhibition Hall from July 27th to July 29th, 2018.

       With the theme “Internet of Things (IoT) and Intelligent Transportation”, the expo had seven exhibition zones – new-energy passenger vehicles, new-energy commercial vehicles, electrical control systems, energy storage battery, intelligent network, charging facility and new-energy related components. The exhibition area was over 40,000 square meters, and the expo saw over 100,000 visitors. Nearly 200 enterprises from China, USA, Germany, France, Japan, Denmark, Malaysia, HK and other countries and regions showcased their latest technologies and products in the fields of new-energy and intelligent network. An “Internet of Things (IoT) and Intelligent Transportation” themed zone was set up, which showcased facial recognition, self-driving cars, self-check-out supermarkets, futuristic intelligent life, futuristic experiences, new automotive power systems and luxury new-energy vehicles. The focus of the expo was to provide new-energy intelligent automobiles a level playing field to compete with the traditional automotive industry, and showcase their advantages in terms of new energy, intelligent manufacturing and personalization.

       Nearly 20 high-end professional forums and public activities were also held during the expo. These professional forums and cultural activities added to the popularity of the auto expo. It is worth mentioning that this year's Green Car China had officials from foreign embassies in China, commercial consultants accompanying government-based buyer groups and the “Belt and Road” national purchasing delegations attending the expo, which led to the placement of several purchase orders.
