On October 11, Auto Aftermarket Guangzhou (AAG) was grandly opened at Poly World Trade Center Exhibition Hall in Guangzhou. SINOMACHINT General Manager Zhao Lizhi said in addressing the opening ceremony that the profits of China’s auto industry had been gradually shifting from the upper stream of the value chain to the downstream. In evolving towards an automobile power, China will put forward higher requirements for auto parts enterprises. He expressed the hope that AAG would present more internationalized and diversified technology products for the industry and inject new vitality into the development of after-market section in South China.

 Covering an area of ​​100,000 m2, this AAG attracted 1,478 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions, including Australia, Belarus, Pakistan, Germany, the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, the United States, Malaysia, Nigeria, Ukraine, Spain, Italy and Chinese Taiwan. As the largest automotive aftermarket brand exhibition in South China, AAG has seized the development opportunities of Guangdong-Hong Kong- Macau Greater Bay Area and focused on the automotive and aftermarket segments, to expand the scope of exhibits, effectively coordinate international resources, closely follow industry trends, and highlight the industry hot spots. After five years of intensive cultivation, it has become an efficient platform for international technical exchanges and comprehensive business cooperation in the industry.

2019 AAG comprised the three sections of auto parts, car modification and accessories, and auto repair and maintenance, gathering many well-known enterprises in the industry. The auto parts section featured the debut of equipment manufacturing, wearing parts and terminal chains. Car modification and supplies section displayed car modification, decoration and maintenance, audio and video electronics, and car accessories. The vehicle repair and maintenance section included sheet metal painting, quick repair and maintenance, chain brands, tire maintenance and so on. In the venue, a number of domestic and foreign corporate exhibitions and exchanges were organized, to help enterprises fully understand, discover and experience new business models of the automotive maintenance industry.
 
As the most internationalized event so far, 2019 AAG featured an Italian National Pavilion for the first time. Spearheaded by the Italian Autopromotec Association and Bologna Fiere, the exhibitor delegation was composed of more than 30 Italian top auto brands, which were displayed in the pavilion of over 1,000 m2. Politecnico di Torino and other academic research institutes also came to Guangzhou with the exhibitor group, for exchange, sharing, and communication with more Chinese university-run enterprises and associations, so as to jointly promote the trade and commercial development of Chinese and European enterprises. Meanwhile, relevant overseas associations and media representatives were invited to cover the event, so as to jointly promote Sino-Italian-European economic and trade exchanges, boost the "Belt and Road" construction, and usher in a new era for China-Italy relations.
      
Another highlight of this year’s AAG is ReMaTec Asia 2019, the first Asian remanufacturing exhibition held concurrently in the same venue. In the opening speech of ReMaTec Asia 2019, Cheng Yongshun said that he would keep in mind his original aspirations and forge ahead, so as to inject new vitality into the technical exchanges of the industry and the trade in Guangzhou. The exhibition unfolded in an area of ​​about 6,000 m2 and focused on the latest technologies and equipment in the remanufacturing industry in China and worldwide, attracting a number of high-quality companies from home and abroad. It is reported that after its emergence in Amsterdam, the Netherlands ReMaTec has now become the most influential remanufacturing brand exhibition in the world. The establishment of ReMaTec Asia in Guangzhou fully reflects the demand for and recognition of the Chinese market by the the international remanufacturing industry. It also builds a highly efficient communication platform for industrial technology exchanges and commercial transactions.
