Open Platform CEFE 2019 Kicks Off Thanks to CIIE Spirit

       In order to further optimize and speed up the growth of China’s emergency response industry as well as the fire protection industry’s global cooperation and exchange, the Shanghai International Emergency & Fire Safety Expo (hereinafter referred to as “CEFE 2019”) kicked off in the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai on November 6th. Strongly supported by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the China Machinery Industry Federation, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information and the Shanghai Administration of Work Safety, this CEFE was further upgraded by Deutsche Messe AG’s powerful exhibition brand Interschutz. In addition, with sponsorship from Deutsche Messe AG and the China National Machinery Industry Corporation, CEFE 2019 was jointly hosted by the Emergency Rescue Equipment Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the Shanghai Emergency Fire Engineering Equipment Industry Association, Xinxing Cathay International Group, the China Aviation Supplies Holding Company and China South Industries Group Corporation, as well as organized by China National Machinery Industry International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sinomachint”), Hannover Milano Fairs China Ltd., Guangzhou Lisheng Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Haijun Exhibition Business Co., Ltd.

 

 

       Distinguished guests at the opening ceremony included Rong Zhiqin (deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information), Han Zhaoming (director of SASAC’s Bureau of Sci-Tech Innovation and Social Responsibility), Zhang Kelin (Executive Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation), Shi Wenjun (Vice Counsel of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information), Shen Linlong (President of the Shanghai Fire Protection Association), Michael Matrian (Operating Chief of the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief), Martin Folkerts (Global Director of Interschutz), Zhao Lizhi (General Manager of Sinomachint) and Liu Guoliang (Managing Director of Hannover Milano Fairs China Ltd.).

 

       According to General Manager Zhao Lizhi’s opening speech, as an organizer of CEFE, Sinomachint has shouldered important responsibilities since 2017 in keeping a close eye on the emergency response industry as well as fulfilling its role as an active part of coordination with national departments and central enterprises holding and developing CEFE.

 

 

       Centered on the topic of building an international security platform that connects global business resources, CEFE gathered nearly 300 high-quality exhibitors at home and abroad in order to display the crucial achievements of the emergency and fire protection industry in an exhibition area of more than 30,000m2. Moreover, nearly 20,000 professional guests and visitors from more than 10 countries and regions were invited for experience and technology exchanges. In particular, leading enterprises such as China North Industries Group Corporation, Hunan South China Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd., Schmitz-Anneng Group, Xinxing Yishan (Tianjin) Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., Shangdong Xinlaidian Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Renhe House Group joined the expo in order to demonstrate the latest products including emergency rescue equipment, emergency rescue vehicles, fire protection equipment, fire protection robots, fire protection drones and airport fire protection vehicles along with information security in terms of fire protection IOT. In essence, all these products were deserving of the considerable praise they have received in terms of novelty, innovation and practicality.

 

       At the same time, more than 10 themed activities were held, including the Summit Forum of “Focusing on international security governance and enhancing security emergency response capacity in the new era”, the procurement matching meeting of central enterprises, the symposium of key enterprises and rescue exercises and knowledge lectures, all of which promoted exchanges and cooperation within the industry both at home and abroad, as well as played an important role in promoting new technologies, ideas and information.

 

       With a global vision, CEFE places great importance on both domestic and foreign markets. It has made continuous efforts in coordination with emergency and fire protection exhibitions in countries such as Germany, the United States, France, Italy, Australia and India. Therefore, CEFE has upgraded its service as well as built a one-stop service platform for the corresponding industry in China and open access for enterprises to reach the global market.
