17th China Engineering Technology Expo held in the Philippines

       Arthur P. Tugade, Minister of Transport of the Philippines, Timothy John R. Batan, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Philippines, Aileen Anunciacion Roa Zosa, Executive Vice President of Base Transformation Development Agency of the Philippines, Atty Angel F. Aguila, Director of the Housing and Urban Development Coordination Committee of the Philippines, Barry G. Paulino, Executive Director of the Constructors Association of the Philippines, and Tan Qingsheng, Deputy-Chief of Mission, Minister-Counsellor of Embassy of China in the Republic of the Philippines, Fang Qiuchen, President of the China International Contractors Association, Yu Xiaohong, Vice President of the China International Contractors Association and Yang Ming, General Manager of the CMEC EXPO cut the ribbon at the expo’s opening ceremony. Expo visitors spent a lot of time at the different enterprise booths and got to know more information about the enterprises. 

 

       The expo saw active participation by member enterprises of the China International Contractors Association, and included large international contractors such as China Railway Group Limited, China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, China State Construction, China Communications Construction, SINOMACH, China General Technology, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, China Road & Bridge Corporation, China Harbor, China Machinery Engineering Corporation, China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd., China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation, and machinery and equipment enterprises such as Media Group, FOTON and Guangxi Liugong Group Co., Ltd. Exhibitors carefully set up various exhibition booths to display products, solutions, models, etc., and used multimedia tools to showcase the brand image, technical level and comprehensive strength of Chinese enterprises, as well as the symbolic achievements in foreign cooperation.

 

       The China-Philippines Infrastructure Cooperation Forum was also held during the expo, and attracted more than 300 guests from government departments, financial institutions, industry associations, international contractors and industry chain enterprises from both China and the Philippines. At the same time, the expo was comprehensively covered by mainstream media in the Philippines. People’s Daily, Xinhua Philippine Branch, Guangming Daily and other media also provided extensive coverage.
 

       In recent years, the CMEC EXPO continues to provide whole industry chain services, to enable Chinese and local enterprises to go global, and is supporting Belt and Road international capacity cooperation, to boost interconnection with countries along the Belt and Road.
